Playitas Resort is located in the picturesque bay of the fishing village Las Playitas in the Municipality of Tuineje on Fuerteventura just 5 Km from the coastal town of Gran Tarajal. It has a sandy volcanic beach, which is perfect for playing, walking or just relaxing and enjoying the sun. The resort has extensive sports and leisure facilities catering for all tastes and is fast becoming the largest sports and training centre in the Canary Islands. Facilities include a 700m2 Nautilus equipped gym, 50m Olympic swimming pool, cycle centre with road, mountain and leisure bikes, dive centre, athletics track nearby, triathlon, beach volleyball, tennis academy, table tennis, football, basketball, 18 hole golf course and watersports centre. The Playitas Villas, just like the Aparthotel and the Hotel, are of a high standard except each villa features its own private 7.7 x 3.5 metre swimming pool which is heated in the winter months. Each Villa has two double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, wardrobes and access to the terrace and pool. The Villa also has a seperate bathroom.
