Es Canutells - Menorca Es Canutells is located between the larger resorts of Binibeca and Cala den Porter and is a nice area for those looking for a relaxed, uncommercialised resort. Located on one side of an attractive inlet, Es Canutells has a small sandy beach backed by a natural pristine gorge with an extensive cane plantation. The resort is a mixture of residential homes, private villas and quite a large however low rise apartment hotel development (Groupotel Mar de Menorca). Sant Climent is the nearest town around 5-10 minutes away by car which is also serviced by bus. Mahon, the capital, is only 10 minutes drive away so car hire is recommended when staying here if of course you wish to explore. For those who prefer just to relax and stay put it's ideal.
