Tenerife

Tenerife is situated right in the middle of the Canary Islands group and is dominated by Spain's highest peak, Mount Teide, some 3718 metres high. The combination of the island's volcanic landscape and lush vegetation make Tenerife a special attraction. However much of its success is attributed to the wonderful climate, having more than 3000 hours of sunshine each year and average annual temperature of 22 degrees. It is therefore an excellent choice, either for a main summer villa and apartment holiday, for a short winter break, or even a longer stay when European temperatures are at their lowest.

Tenerife is a holiday destination which attracts more visitors each year. For the sun worshipper or the more active, Tenerife is well suited to those wishing to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. Anytime of the year is perfect for rock climbing, abseiling, cycling, windsurfing and sailing. For the enthusiastic golfer several new courses have been designed and opened in recent years.

The culture and traditions of Tenerife combine successfully and many popular festivities and fiestas take place each year to the sound of traditional local music. Throughout the year Tenerife offers a full programme of visual arts, photography, music, dance and theatre including concerts by the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra which enjoys and excellent reputation.

El Medano

El Medano is situated on the southern side of the island about ten to fifteen minutes from the airport and approximately twenty minutes by car from Playa de Las Americas. El Medano offers a relaxed and uncommercialised atmosphere, a contrasting alternative to the livelier resorts further round the coast. Having one of the largest natural and safe beaches on Tenerife, El Medano is popular for windsurfing and kitesurfing enthusiasts. Mountain biking and road biking is also available from the resort.
 El Medano has a small harbour and an attractive sea front with a long wooden board walk overlooking the golden sand. Restaurants and small cafes are plentiful and varied offering a full range of meals, snacks and pastries in pleasant sea front surroundings or tucked away in a quiet corner. Accommodation in the town varies from one bedroom apartments to sea front apartments and larger villas with private pools. Proximity to the airport does make certain parts of the town susceptible to some aircraft noise.

Within ten minutes drive is the village of Los Abrigos famed for its locally caught fish which are served in the waterfront restaurants. A further two minutes drive will take you to the resort of Golf del Sur where there are three nine hole golf courses.

Golf del Sur

Situated in the south of the island, just ten minutes drive from the airport, Golf del Sur has much to offer.

As well as a great selection of quality villas and apartments, there is an excellent 27 hole PGA circuit golf course. (Tee off times, must be arranged in advance). The Commercial Centre, has a number of restaurants offering English, French, Chinese and typical Canarian cuisine along with an Italian Pizzeria and Pasta Restaurant. The nearest beach is El Medano, approximately ten minutes drive along the coast through the fishing village of Los Abrigos.

Proximity to the airport does make parts of the development susceptible to some aircraft noise.

Golf Las Americas

Golf Las Americas opened in 1998 and is located between the lively tourist resorts of Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos which have some of the best beaches on Tenerife. The resort accommodation offers spacious and well furnished villa or apartment style accommodation with a host of facilities to suit families, couples, golfers and non golfers alike. The whole development is set in an array of tropical gardens, fountains and terraces, with excellent views over the golf course towards Playa de las Americas and the sea. A courtesy bus service operates daily (except Sunday) to the nearby resort amenities all of which are within 1.5 kilometres.

The course itself is protected from the wind by a range of hills, the 18 hole 6039 metre course with par 72 has many notable features and include streams and ravines which cross the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 12th, 13th, 17th and 18th hole. In addition to the Clubhouse, there is a golf school, pro shop, restaurant and bar. It is essential to book tee off times in advance. All our clients receive a discount on pre-booked rounds. Fanabe

Fanabe is rapidly gaining the reputation as the smartest resort area in the Playa de Las Americas area of Tenerife with a good mix of shops from chic designer boutiques to well stocked supermarkets . It has a long sandy beach fronted with bars, restaurants and general tourist shops. Situated close to the edge of Costa Adeje, this end of Playa de Las Americas is a good choice for those seeking quality amenities in more exclusive area of the resort.  There is still a fair amount of on going development in the area, however construction work aside Fanabe does have a lot to offer families, couples or golfers looking for a quieter area to holiday within easy reach of all the facilities Playa de Las Americas has to offer.

La Caleta

La Caleta is a growing fashionable resort on the Costa Adeje coast which has a good selection of charming restaurants and shops together with a traditional harbour. For golfing enthusiasts the resort is within very each reach of the Costa Adeje championship golf course. The nightlife of Playa de Las Americas is just ten minutes drive which can also be reached by the beachfront promenade which stretches all the way from La Caleta to Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos.

Golf Costa Adeje

Only five kilometres away from Playa de las Americas on one side and our villas in Callao Salvaje on the other side, Golf Costa Adeje is made up of the 18 hole par 72 championship course and an additional 9 hole Los Lagos course. Opened in 1998 it has rapidly become one of the most popular course in Tenerife. Designed by the internationally renowned Pepe Gancedo, Golf Costa Adeje has hosted many important international championships.

Adapting itself to the natural contours of the land, the course enjoys spectacular views of the Atlantic, the island of La Gomera, Playa de las Americas and the mountains of Adeje.

The course begins with a long par 5 and ends with a par 5. The greens are generally large and there are a number of doglegs. All together it is not a difficult but nevertheless a challenging one.

The facilities of Golf Costa Adeje include a well stocked pro shop, a golf school and driving range together with a selection of private villas villas built around the course. The club house, built in colonial style has a traditional restaurant with spacious terraces which offer excellent views to the sea and the first tee. Recently opened is the new high quality restaurant "Cinco Olives" offering international quisine and an endless selection of wines.

Callao Salvaje

Callao Salvaje is a small town on the south west coast of Tenerife approximately 4 miles west of the populated tourist area of Playa De Las Americas and just 10 minutes drive from the Costa Adeje golf course. As well as having and excellent choice of private villas with pools, Callao Salvaje offers a peaceful and relaxing village atmosphere with small shops, money exchange, local information office and a selection of bars and restaurants - a great place to unwind and watch the evening sunsets over La Gomera.

Playa San Juan

This small quaint fishing town is situated half way between Playa de Las Americas and Los Gigantes on the South West coast of the Island. The town has a very relaxed atmosphere and offers a glimpse of real Canarian life. There are a number old style tapas bars and a good selection of restaurants many specialising in locally caught fresh fish and seafood. Small shops and a few supermarkets centre around the port area and marina where whale and dolphin sight-seeing trips can be taken. Playa San Juan is an ideal location for a relaxing holiday in a peaceful location away from the main populated tourist areas in ideally situated villas with private pools.

Chayofa

Chayofa is a hillside country location just 10 minutes drive from Los Cristianos, however it does have quite a few amenities of its own. There is the local Country Club, which has tennis courts a bar and restaurant with nightly entertainment and a supermarket close by. Within a short taxi ride or a short walk there are some very good restaurants including La Estancia which offers a fantastic A La Carte menu. The local bus service from Chayofa stops on the roadside in front of the Country Club and it takes around 15 minutes to ride into the coastal resort of Los Cristianos. Taxis are also readily available at the Country Club reception. Further into the hills in Arona and only a 10 minutes drive is the Parque Las Aguilas del Tiede, also known as The Jungle Park, set in 75,000 sq metres of tropical garden. This animal and eagle park is an ideal day out for families or indeed anyone with an interest in nature. The spectacular wild birds of prey show, is hosted by the fantastic falconers and have practically every breed of Africa's finest birds of prey including, Condors, American bald eagle and sea eagles to name but a few.
