The summer 2009 programme of high wind excursions to Salinas de Arinaga will continue. The excursions are lead by a highly experienced sailor and high level of safety and service is practised at all times in order that clients who can water start can concentrate on learning and perfecting new skills.

• From the fourth rental day onwards, each rental day costs £15
• Every 7th day is free.
• Price reductions of 20% for youngsters aged 13 through 18
• Price reductions of 30% for children aged up to 12.
• Select a dedicated board that will be reserved for exclusive use for the duration
• Inclusive variable foot straps and freely selectable fins.
• Rig changes permissible whenever required

Windsurfing Costa Teguise, Lanzarote
Costa Teguise now has an excellent selection of kit available to hire from the various centres in the resort, AHD, JP, F2, Fanatic and Bic Sport. We have one beach house available just 100 metres from Las Cucharas Beach together with a wide selection of villas and quality apartments all within ten minutes walk from the beach. It is advisable to book very early for July/August dates particularly for the beachfront accommodation or villas with private pools.

17.06.09 Sad news for Flag Beach  Windsurf Centre: The local council in Corralejo have bulldozed the hut on Flag Beach. It's a long and complicated story however Ben and Rachel are working hard to provide and restore their beach service. However until further notice they will be operating as follows: They will be situated in the same place at flag beach each day, that is half way between the large RIU hotels and the start of Corralejo where the old hut was . They are visible on the beach next to the catamarans with flags flying near the water and wind breaks etc.

Do not forget they have a shop in the centre of Corralejo and they will have a board collection location at their store in Corralejo, Calle Poril (previously Calle Muñoz Grande) number 8 that is a garage door. They will be there at 09:30 each day. All those clients on rentals that want to take equipment away can do so from the storage or it can be collected from the beach. Flag Beach cannot offer board storage facilities UNLESS clients have already booked, in which case they will still honour those bookings. They are still offering rescue service with a boat. Obviously they apologize for any inconvenience and will of course keep us updated with any changes.

For clients who prefer windsurfing in a little more shelter, Ventura Surf, located on the town beach in Corralejo, will be providing a mixture of kit from Tabou/AHD/Gaastra. We have a wide range of apartments and villas in and around Corralejo, including some superb beach front properties. Again it is advisable to book very early for high season dates.
 
In the south of the island (Sotavento / Costa Calma, Playa de Jandia) we are also offering packages to the Sol Gorriones Hotel, home of the famous Rene Egli Windsurf Centre who have a huge selection of kit from F2, JP and Neil Pryde.  Call or email today for a quotation from your nearest airport.

Back on sale are two wonderful beachfront properties Casa Miranda and Casa Hedley. Both are front line and probably the closest villas with pools in Corralajo to Flag Beach windsurf centre.

Windsurfing El Medano, Tenerife
Klaus & Marion at Surf Centre Playa Sur, situated on the western side of the Hotel Playa Sur will continue to offer their excellent service in the South Bay with equipment from Naish. They will also be offering Kite surfing tuition. Also now in the south bay is the new OTC Test Centre offering four diverse sailing areas, catering for flat-water to waves, boards from F2, Fanatic, Goya, Hifly, JP Australia, Mistral, RRD, Starboard, Tabou and Sails from Ezzy, Gaastra, Maui Sails, Neil Pryde, North Sails, Severne, Simmer, Tushingham.
There are also possibilities for road bike or mountain bike hire in the town with a range of hard tail and full suspension bikes from Cannodale, Marin and Scott together with guided tours and repair service. Contact us for more details.

Windsurfing Essaouira, Morocco
July 2007 saw the opening of the new Club Mistral Windsurf and Kitesurf in Essaouira which 300 metres further downwind from the old centre offering cleaner wind and better conditions. Offering 70 boards and around 120 rigs together with an excellent beach front bar and restaurant, this destination will certainly prove popular destination again for 2008 and winter 08/09.
